Vocabulary:  Establishing Shot, Master Shot, Wide Shot, Full Shot, Medium Shot, Medium Close Up, Close Up, Extreme Close Up


Establishing shot is wide to establish the characters and environments

Master shot captures the scene entirely

Wide shot captures the character’s relationship to their environment

Full shot captures a character from head to toe in tight frame

Medium Full shot captures a character from top of head to top of thigh

Medium shot captures a character from above the head to top of waist

Medium close up captures character from top of head to chest

Close up captures a character from top of head to shoulders

Extreme close up isolates a specific area (Insert shot).
